IMPORTANT ACT INFO:

Bossier Schools has been informed by ACT they are rescoring the state and district spring ACT taken online during the school day and removing scores from students’ MyACT accounts today. The spring ACT was administered by Bossier Schools the week of March 24.

ACT ensures student scores will NOT be lower than what was previously released. When scores are available again, composite and section scores will remain the same OR go up slightly based on individual student performance. ACT anticipates making the revised scores available no later than June 2.

There is no action you need to take. ACT will post revised scores on MyACT and resend scores to students’ schools. If a student previously opted to send scores via ACT to a college, university or scholarship-awarding organization, they will also be sent any updated scores.

ACT apologizes for the inconvenience and will provide updated communication to Bossier Schools once students’ revised scores are uploaded to online reporting.

Your 2026 Boys District Champions are our very own Airline Vikings. With 2 events left and down by 4 points to the team up north, the Vikings proved why we are 1 Team 1 Speed. Many great performances on both the boys' and the girls' teams. On the girls' side: Shelby Ledet 1st in the High Jump. Girls 4x800, 4x400, and 4x200 all qualified for Regionals. Zy Sykes and Leah Menard also qualified in the 100h and 200m dash. The boys will also send a full team to regionals next week. Lathan Woodland and Jayden William both finished first in the 400 and 800. All of the relay teams qualified, and Jayden Williams was named District 1-5A MVP. Congrats to all participants.
Also introducing your 2026 1-5A Coach of the Year, Schirra Fields. Congratulations Coach!
