Our Senior Blue Jackets kicked off the
Chick-fil-A Leadership Academy with a celebration centered on conquering fear and making a difference!
From facing their fears while eating jelly beans to writing letters of encouragement to kindergarteners and 1st graders. They organized bags with free books and personal letters that will be given away in October. Our seniors embraced every challenge with courage, teamwork, and a heart for service.
We are so proud of the leaders they are becoming and can’t wait to see the impact they make in our school and community!

Every year, we have the honor of selecting a Grand Marshal to lead our Homecoming Parade. This year, we are proud to celebrate Mr. Jason Smith, a 1986 Airline High School graduate and longtime supporter of our Vikings!
Jason and his wife, Kimmie (also an Airline graduate), have raised three children who proudly bleed navy and columbia. Their family’s love for Airline runs deep, and we are thrilled to honor Jason’s dedication to our school and community.

Attention Senior Girls!
The Commission for Women of Bossier City is seeking applications from high school senior girls for its 2026-27 mentoring program. Mentees will participate in monthly sessions that empower young women and instill leadership skills. The deadline for applications to be turned in to high school senior counselors is at 12 p.m. Friday, August 21. Please visit https://bit.ly/4wfxkFf to complete the application.
Vikings, here is the new parent note put in place by the district. The district is accepting up to five parent notes that will count as up to 5 excused absences for the school year. If your student is absent for any reason that is not considered excused, please fill out the attached parent note and turn it into the student office within 5 school days.
Vikings, If students need to pick up their schedule in the morning please report to the designated area.
