BOSSIER SCHOOLS: Parents/Guardians, we want to make you aware that a parish-wide lockdown drill will take place this morning, Friday, September 13 at all schools to practice emergency safety procedures. This is only a drill.
If your child rides bus #52, your children will be delivered home by bus #226. The BPSB Transportation Department sent a message out at 3:20, but there was an error and we are aware that many did not receive it. Students left campus about 15 minutes ago and should arrive home shortly. Thank you for your patience.

Tomorrow we will celebrate Attendance Awareness month with a crazy hair day! Students can style their hair any way they choose with their school uniform.

Sun City will have a 2 week (4 classes) PAKS Karate Character Education Course. The course will be at Sun City on Sept. 17 & 18 and Sept. 24 & 25 in the gym from 3:15-4:00pm. Good afternoon Stars! September is National Attendance Awareness Month and we are celebrating the importance school attendance plays in ensuring our students receive quality education. Consistent attendance boosts academic performance and grade-level proficiency, fosters, social connections and peer relationships, and encourages responsibility and a sense of routine. Each Friday, we'll be encouraging attendance with special days for students.

Good morning Stars! Deadline to sign up for Running Club is Sept. 9th.
The first practice will be Sept. 11th and the Sun City Running Club will participate in the Kids on the Run Race Series. These races are sponsored by SportSpectrum and occur monthly from October to April.

● Please take a screenshot of your completed KOTR race registration so you can upload it into the google form.
