Unchained Club Members Picture Announcement: Wednesday at 9:50 in the boys gym. Be sure to wear navy blue polo.


This week’s breakfast is at St Jude @ 6:30. Free breakfast and a great message.

FCA day is next Sunday Oct. 30th @ 9:45 in First Bossier’s Loft.Guest speaker Olympian David Boudia as well as athletes from LA Tech, LSU and more. Bring your friends.


All FCA members need to wear your FCA tshirt on Wednesday for Club pictures.


Wear your pep squad uniform to school Friday. You will need to meet by the band room by 5:00Friday in order to leave for the Byrd game. Please do not be late. Bring your bag, poms, and jacket. 


Toga Dance Party October 29th at Asbury Church


Mr. Fancy sign up is Friday during all lunch shifts at the senior wall.


Last chance for senior cap and gown make up @ 7:30 am or 1:30 pm on this Wednesday. All senior cap & gown order forms are due to Mrs. Hahn (C3) no later Friday, October 28 by 2:30.


Big game this Friday at Lee Hedges Stadium against Byrd.   Volleyball competes for the District Championship tomorrow night in Ruston.  Then we return to action on Thursday night for senior night against Magnet. Also on Thursday is the Cross Country District Championship at South Bossier Recreation Park.   Wrestling travels to Parkway tomorrow night for it's first takedown tournament.

Any Freshman boy interested in trying out for the freshman basketball team, tryouts will be on Tuesday and Wednesday, November 1st and 2nd in the boy's gym from 3:00-5:00 P.M. You must have a physical and parent release form signed and turned into Coach White before tryouts. You must also turn in a progress report to Coach White before tryouts. If you have any questions, see Coach White.


ROTC have a few more hoodies & sweatshirts available for sell, Hoodies are $30 and Sweatshirts are $25. Please stop by A4 or A5 to see CMSgt Parson or SMSgt Miller to purchase one.

Club picture day is Wednesday, October 26th.


Model United Nations members need to please get their shirt size to Mrs. Byrd ASAP. Shirts are being ordered today! Come by M7 or respond to the remind message. 


Drop A Bear: Show You Care:  Help support Kylie Smith on her senior project, by raising awareness on domestic violence. Please donate a new or gently used teddy bear to the drop box located in A wing, to be donated to law enforcement officers to be given to children affected by domestic violence.


Caroline Olson’s Senior Project: Little Miss Airline Pageant. All proceeds go to Shriners Hospital. Pick up form in foyer by main office. Pageant is November 6th, @ VFW. $50. Participant fee. 



History Bowl members: Mr. Baskin needs your shirt size ASAP. Email or drop by his room F-304. History Bowl Trivia is November 17th @6PM in the cafeteria.

Fall Variety Show sponsored by the Drama Department is November 3


"Land of the Free and Home of the Vikes" is going to have you whistling "Dixie" and singing "Yankee Doodle Dandy."  Mrs. Finimore's theatre classes and Mrs. Lipsey's speech classes are preparing acts which include scenes from An American Tale  and Hamilton, and songs such as "Surfin' USA" and  "American Heart."  We want you to be a part of the show!  Prepare your favorite American song, skit, monologue, poem, etc. and come audition for the Patriotic Variety Show.  Auditions will be held in room A-3 on Tuesday, October 18th at 2:30.  Sign up in A-wing by Mrs. Finimore's room or in old F-wing by Mrs. Lipsey's room.


Seniors: Very important! If you did not take your senior cap and gown picture, please see Mrs. Hahn as soon as possible.


The deadline for entry into the Voice of Democracy speech contest is quickly approaching. Entries with completed entry forms must be turned in by the end of school on Wednesday, October 26th. Please see Mrs. Ross, Mrs. Finimore, Ms. Lawton or Mrs. Lipsey for information.


Mu Alpha Theta math tutoring will begin this Thursday Sept. 22. Tutoring will be for 1 hour. Location in Mrs. Bothel’s room, F-205


Robotics Club will meet on Friday’s after school in room F-107. Come join the fun.
